This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
First of all: take a deep breath! It’s completely normal to feel a little camera-shy, but my job is to make sure you never feel 'stiff' or awkward. We won't spend our time doing rigid, uncomfortable posing. Instead, I’ll give you gentle prompts and cues that focus on connection and movement—think of it as a fun hour of hanging out with your favorite people while I happen to be there with a camera.
Here are three things to keep in mind:
Comfort is Key: Wear something that makes you feel like the best version of you. If you feel good, it shows in the photos.
Embrace the Chaos: Especially with kids (or newborns!), things don't always go 'to plan.' That’s okay! The messy, unscripted moments often end up being the ones you’ll love the most.
Trust Me: You don't need to know 'what to do' with your hands or where to look. I will guide you through the whole process so you can just relax and enjoy the moment."

How long does it take to get our photos?
I know how eager you are to relive these moments, and I’m just as excited to share them with you! Because I want every image to be perfect, I hand-edit each one with care to ensure the light, color, and emotion are just right. You can expect your full, high-resolution gallery delivered to your inbox within two weeks of our session.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Yes! I do have a handful of beautiful locations selected in both Springfield and Branson. However, I am open to any location nearby that is special to you!
